Here at Street Saviours, we value the love and experience that each human brings to our organization. We collect humans when they have little else and/or no-one else to turn to. We spread joy, love and happiness on the street through food, drink, and laughter. Most of all, we all do it for the same reason - We care.

Many volunteers come to us for experience in the Health and Social Sciences. Street Saviour’s programs turns out great results and many are accepted into EMR/PCP courses at Justice Institute simply because of our volunteer work.

Our work is also supported by University of Fraser Valley in their CampusLife section for students as an accepted volunteer opportunity counting toward course credits for hours served.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

  • Outreach

    We love humans from all walks of life and background. We welcome people with lived experience, or people who use substances with loving arms, their hard-won skills and talents are invaluable to being a better organisation. All of our volunteers, regardless of status or certification will start at this stage to gain an understanding and commitment to how Street Saviours works. There are possibilities to move forward into Leadership and Management type roles, if you like.

  • Inventory Management (vacant opportunity)

    Maybe being out on the streets is not for you. Perhaps you’ve got a keen eye for detail and organization. We are currently looking for someone who can take inventory, keep records, make orders, and ensure that we don’t run out of the things we need.   • Social/Website/Blog Management

    Our dedicated team is growing quickly. We are looking for people who can support management of website, social media posts, writing blogs, monthly newsletters and anything else that may attract new life into our organization. What’s Next?

Once you’ve completed your online application, head over to our Facebook Page and send a message to let us know. We would love if you gave our page a like at the same time ;)

We may contact you for follow up. During this time, if you have reported any certifications during your application then we will ask for a copy of these and retain them in your Volunteer file.

Once accepted, we will let you know and you’ll be able to book an orientation, which typically happen on Wednesday and Friday night.
